Most platforms optimize for clicks. TED optimizes for ideas worth spreading—the kind that change people. TEDxBeverlyGrove brings that standard to Los Angeles— one talk, one room, one shifted perspective at a time.

TEDxBeverlyGrove isn’t a conference. It’s a proposition.
California is unusually good at optimization. We optimize schedules, supply chains, bodies, brands—everything that can be measured. The irony is that the more efficient everythingbecomes, the more we seem to crave the one thing you can’t automate: being in the room. Optimization doesn’t work on the things that matter most—meaning, trust, belonging. They respond to experience. To story. To being in the right room at the right moment.
So we’re building something different: a room designed for resonance. TEDx, at its best, is a local gathering with global reach—independently organized, built to spark conversation, and anchored in ideas worth spreading. It happens in universities, neighborhood theaters, and places you’d never expect—wherever a community decides the future is worth talking about.
On March 14, 2026, we convene TEDxBeverlyGrove in West Hollywood to explore this year’s theme: Reimagining the Possible—through talks and performances designed to challenge assumptions, create connection, and leave you seeing your world differently.
And the room is only the beginning. TEDx is local by design—and global by distribution. A talk that starts here can reach millions; the TEDx Talks channel reaches tens of millions, with 44M+ subscribers on YouTube alone. The event lasts a day. The ideas don’t. They’re captured with care and built to travel far beyond the moment.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection.
These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)

Who will you be sitting next to? Probably the people you came with. And then —inevitably the person you didn’t know you needed to meet. TEDxBeverlyGrove is one of the rare LA rooms where strangers sit shoulder to shoulder and agree, at least for a few hours, to do the unglamorous thing: pay attention.
You’ll be surrounded by people who still believe ideas can change behavior—founders and builders, family office leaders, hospitality and culinary leaders, civic stewards, and trusted professional advisors—the kind of people who don’t just talk about the future, but quietly build it.
And thanks to a brand partner, a number of seats are reserved for Better Youth participants — emerging creators and entrepreneurs bringing real stakes and real perspective intothe room. The conversations don’t feel like networking. They feel like recognition: Oh—you’re one of us. Come for the talks. Leave with better questions, and at least one new relationship that makes those questions impossible to ignore.
