Audience Guidelines for a Live Filmed Event

To preserve the quality of the live experience and the integrity of the filmed program, the following policies apply to all guests.

Filming In Progress

No entry or ext is permitted while filming is in progress.

Late arrivals or guests who exit the theater must wait in the lobby until the next scheduled break or talk transition.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

Recording & Photography

Photography, video recording, and audio recording are strictly prohibited inside the theater.

This includes phones, cameras, tablets, and wearable devices.

Official event photos and videos will be shared after the event.

Food & Beverages

No food or beverages are permitted inside the theater.

Water in a sealed bottle is permitted.

All other refreshments must be consumed in the lobby areas.

Mobile Devices

Please silence all mobile devices before entering the theater.

Calls, messaging, and screen use during talks are not permitted.

Seating

All seating is general admission unless otherwise designated.

Please follow the guidance of ushers and volunteers for seating assistance.

Late seating may be held until natural breaks between talks.

Respect For Speakers

TEDx events are designed for focused listening and thoughtful engagement.

Please refrain from conversations during talks. leaving seats unnecessarily during presentations, or any activity that may distract speakers or other attendees.

Event staff reserve the right to remove individuals disrupting the experience.

Accessibility

If you require assistance or have accessibility needs. please notify a volunteer or staff member and we will be happy to assist.

FILMING NOTICE

By attending this event, you acknowledge that video and photography may capture audience members and grant permission for your likeness to appear in event documentation and promotional materials.
